Kyle Biery is the Director of Theatre and Assistant Professor of Communication at Carson-Newman University. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and an MFA in Scenography from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro. Prior to joining the faculty at C-NC he designed and directed for Walters State Community College and Brevard College including productions of Forever Plaid, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Big River, Godspell, A Christmas Carol and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Professional credits include productions with The Greensboro Children’s Theatre, The Community Theatre of Greensboro, UNCG Summer Repertory Company, Actor’s COOP and Struther’s Library Theatre.
