Kathy Jones-Terry
Kathy has been active in local theatre for over 30 years in all aspects of production and performance, from directing to performing to building costumes & sets. Her stage credits include Barbara in August: Osage County, Miss Hannigan in Annie, M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias, a Merry Murderess/dance ensemble member in Chicago, Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, Lady MacBeth in Macbeth, Meg in Crimes of the Heart and Sally Bowles in Cabaret, just to name a few. A former high school English & Journalism teacher, Kathy is currently the Clerk and Master for Chancery and Probate Courts in Hamblen County. She is the Past-President of the State Court Clerks Association of Tennessee, a member of board of directors for County Officials Association of Tennessee, and the past president of East Tennessee Court Clerks. Kathy previously served on the Board of Directors of the Morristown Boys & Girls Club, and has served as a board member, former executive committee member and past president of the Board of Trustees for All Saints' Episcopal School. She is also an active volunteer for the United Way of Morristown and a member of the Wellness of Women council for Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Systems. Kathy was a Founding Member of the Encore Company and has served on the Encore Company and Board of Trustees since it began.
